How to convert an image

  1. 1.Upload or drop a PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP, or AVIF image.

  3. 3.Set the detail, palette size, and render quality, then select Convert image.

Outline or color?

Internal lines keeps boundaries and details throughout sketches, cartoons, and technical drawings.

Outer shape is best for simple silhouettes, transparent cutouts, vinyl cutting, and single-color icons.

Color SVG creates separate editable palette layers for logos, illustrations, and photographs.

Cartoon style flattens texture, boosts color, and adds dark boundaries for a more graphic 2D result.

This converter does more than place a bitmap inside an SVG wrapper. It traces visible boundaries into real vector paths. Internal-lines mode retains facial features, hair, clothing, handwriting, sketch marks, and technical detail; color mode separates the image into editable curved palette layers.

For maximum detail, start with High quality, increase line sensitivity gradually, or use 64–96 colors for complex photographs. Then open the result in Create to simplify nodes, recolor layers, add animation, and export the finished animation as GIF or MP4.

More colors can improve fidelity, but they also increase processing time, file size, and editing complexity.

Get a cleaner result

  • • Start with the clearest source image available.
  • • Use a transparent or simple background for cutouts.
  • • Try fewer colors when a photograph looks noisy or patchy.
  • • Use High quality for curved edges and small details.
  • • Remember that vectors cannot restore detail absent from the source.
